PROINAPSA – UIS
PROINAPSA-UIS is a school-based programme that started in 58 schools in urban and rural areas of the district of Santander in 1996 and was reported to have expanded to 214 schools in 1998. It is estimated that a total of 14,680 children and 1,389 teachers are involved in this programme. An outcome of the programme has been the development of a range of health materials that have been used in the training of teachers in CtC approaches. At present, the focus of the organisation is on Sexual and Reproductive Health and it is collaborating with WHO in this area. Read more
