Relevant Background information

In the 1990s Zimbabwe was particularly active in promoting health across the curriculum using Child-to-Child approaches. It hosted a workshop on Science across the curriculum, providing much of the input for the publication Health into Science later written up by Child-to-Child and available through TALC. It also produced Child-to-Child readers under licence which were widely used. In the last five years a number of small projects have used the approach in Water and Sanitation, Community Based Rehabilitation and Early Childhood Care and Development, but at the time of writing contacts are difficult.
