Relevant background information
Considerable use is made of the approach, particularly in programmes targeting marginalised children and the disabled. Materials from both Child-to-Child and l'Enfant pour l'Enfant have been used, translated and adapted.
Enfants et Développement
The programme has been running since 1995 and works with poor Khmer children of pre-school and primary school age. Activities take place both in school and health and community centres with teachers and community workers being involved.
The focus of the programme is good health, inclusive education and children’s rights, with an emphasis on developing children’s self worth and confidence.
Training is focused on health knowledge and the use of Child-to Child participatory methodology and the use of Child-to-child materials, particularly the readers. Read more

Child to Child materials and approaches in Inclusive Education
The Disability Action Council, formed in 2000 and officially launched in 2004 has translated and adapted Child-to-Child disability sheets into Khmer. These are now used in the Council’s Inclusive Education programme which also holds training on Child-to-Child methods and approaches.
