Watercan
WaterCan has been working in the water and sanitation sector for over 20 years. More recently we launched our Clean Water for Schools (CWfS) program in 2005. Since then, we have worked with 16 partner organizations in East Africa, who in turn work with local school staff and administration and local and district government officials to provide training and capacity building using Child-to-Child learning methods. By the end of 2010, approximately 55,000 students and teachers will have benefited from the activities. Our partner organizations receive funding from WaterCan (as well as other donors), and WaterCan received funding from public and private sources. Read more
