About us

Child-to-Child is an international network promoting children's participation in health and development. The Child-to-Child Trust is based at the University of London's Institute of Education.

Since 1979, the Child-to-Child Trust has acted as the central core of an international movement of health and education workers and programmes that are active in over 70 countries and impact an estimated 1.5 million children annually.

Our mission

To encourage and enable children and young people to promote the holistic health, well-being and development of themselves, their families and their communities worldwide.

What is Child-to-Child?

The Child-to-Child Approach is an educational process that links children’s learning with taking action to promote the health, wellbeing and development of themselves, their families and their communities. Through participating in Child-to-Child activities the personal, physical, social, emotional, moral and intellectual development of children is enhanced.
